Electronic Signatures & Communications Consent

1. Consent to Electronic Records

When you use an NTA Logistics online workflow that presents an electronic agreement, certification, authorization, notice, or signature field, you consent to receive and complete that record electronically. You may also receive transaction-related confirmations by email.

2. Electronic Signatures

Typing your name, checking an acceptance box, clicking a button labeled to indicate agreement or submission, or otherwise completing an electronic signature workflow may constitute your electronic signature and evidence your intent to sign, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

3. Covered Transactions

This consent may apply to shipper certifications, carrier certifications, Broker-Carrier Agreement acceptance, carrier payment authorizations, freight agent certifications, and other website records that expressly present an electronic acceptance step. Separate agreements may include additional electronic-signature provisions.

4. Copies of Electronic Records

You should save or print records presented during an electronic-signature process. NTA may retain electronic records of submissions and signed acknowledgments in its business systems. You may contact NTA to request a copy of a record, subject to identity verification, availability, and applicable retention requirements.

5. Withdrawing Consent

You may choose not to complete an electronic signature workflow and contact NTA to ask whether another method is available. If you withdraw consent after a transaction has already been electronically signed, the withdrawal will not automatically invalidate a completed signature or prior electronic record.

6. Hardware & Software Requirements

To use electronic records, you generally need an internet-connected device, a modern web browser, the ability to view HTML and PDF documents when applicable, a working email address, and the ability to save or print records for your files.

7. Authority & Accuracy

By signing electronically, you represent that you are the person identified in the signature field, that you have authority to sign for the identified business when signing in a representative capacity, and that the information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
